Now I remember!!!

Standard

I have to admit for the past few years holidays have been not as jolly and usual, just because of what was all happening to me.  However, now I understand and remember what it is like.  The jokes, laughing, smiling, hugs, and all around good times.  After a great meal at Dane’s aunts house, we watched movies at Moses.  The next morning Dane and I went for a walk/jog and then off to the Alexandrea Clinic to get my mom’s thumb taken care of (she slammed it in a car door!!)  We got to visit Grandma Omann for Flancens making??? Today we went to a small tree farm and picked out our Christmas tree!!! It is sooo cute!! This afternoon I was working with my mom on MITTONS!!!!!! I will post some pictures tomorrow, and they will be for sale with some of the proceeds going to the new non profit!! Tonight we had dinner with my dad and Luann with Dane’s good friend Chris. They are now watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.  So, I thought I would take some time and catch up on my blogging.

So far I have been feeling really good.  Today was my first hit of migraine so I had to time out for a bit and lay down.  Tomorrow I think we will have a less busy day and take things easy so hopefully Mr. Migraine won’t be around.  Dane will be watching the Vikings and I can work on my own projects like the Mittons, finding skis, and more cookbook recipes.  We will probably head back Sunday late afternoon to put up the tree and unpack.  I have a busy week this week with ultrasound, biopsy, clinic visit, and cardio rehab.  We got an excersize bike from my dad and Luann so I can start biking at home.  I also got a computer that was left over from Roger’s office so I will have my own computer in my office to work on.  Very exciting!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! I am thankful for my new heart, family, and friends who have supported me.  Bless you all..

About marialegatt

I am a 33 year old girl (I say girl because I act and look young all the time) who has had heart disease her whole life. In the last few years I have had severe congestive heart failure and in August of this year recieved a heart transplant. This is my journey to be girl/woman who I could never have been before. I plan to set outstanding goals and achievements and hope people support me along the way good or bad.
