Not much has changed.  The docs decided to keep the tube in overnight to have a fuller day of assistance and to have a full staff on site. Tomorrow morning they will stop the muscle relaxer and pull the vent tube.

She was in some discomfort due to mult factors, such as increased body temp (better circulation than she has probably ever had), altered mental state(happy drugs), inability to move(muscle relaxer plus being tied down), oh, and the smal fact that she had a major surgery. So they are giving her a nice dose of meds so that she can rest comfortably.
Tomorrow is a big day folks. Besides the tube being removed, hopefully she also eats and drinks, gets unrestrained, sits up, and begin the road to recovery.
Matt flew in from Houston today. It was very cool to see maria respond when she figured out he was here- I know it meant a lot to her.
Goodnight everyone. We can’t wait to show y’all the new and turbo-boosted Maria.

About marialegatt

I am a 33 year old girl (I say girl because I act and look young all the time) who has had heart disease her whole life. In the last few years I have had severe congestive heart failure and in August of this year recieved a heart transplant. This is my journey to be girl/woman who I could never have been before. I plan to set outstanding goals and achievements and hope people support me along the way good or bad.
