Standard
Kinda good with a small stumble
Today was my first really long day.  Keilee and I spend 7 hours at the hospital doing my labs, biopsy, and clinic visit.  The good news is that I got a zero for rejection on my biopsy which is great news.  Hoever, my doc says my lungs are still a bit deflated and he wants me to get an xray tomorrow and do as many breathing excercises as possible.  My magnesium is also very low so he scheduled me for a magnesium infusion tomorrow as well.  The low magnesium is due to one of my anti-rejection meds being too high in my lab tests, so they are adjusting that as well.  These are all very normal blips in the road and all should work out fine.  My doc says I am doing great and my energy should really start to come back with in the next few weeks.  I hemoglobin is also low but he said I can work on that my own (eat more protein) for a few weeks and if that doesn’t go up they will infuse iron.  It is a process but I know I can do it and I will be my old self in no time.

Ok way too tired so I am signing off.  Update later.
Bless everyone,
Maria

About marialegatt

I am a 33 year old girl (I say girl because I act and look young all the time) who has had heart disease her whole life. In the last few years I have had severe congestive heart failure and in August of this year recieved a heart transplant. This is my journey to be girl/woman who I could never have been before. I plan to set outstanding goals and achievements and hope people support me along the way good or bad.
