Last 24 hours have been good.  She slept basically a full night. Maria has eaten three solid meals. She feels just ok, but again the docs are pleases with everything.

Two of the three chest drainage tubes came out today- left the one little one just to be extra cautious.
She has went for two walks of about two hundred feet and did some light leg strengthening.
It has been a busy day with multiple doctor visits, two education classes (that outlined the things that should happen, appts).
Tomorrow should be less hectic so hopefully she can go for multiple walks.
No dicussions about going home yet.  Because she is doing so well, I would say she is on track to discharge at about the seven day mark.  Things happen and change so quickly that it doesn’t do alot of good to speculate.

About marialegatt

I am a 33 year old girl (I say girl because I act and look young all the time) who has had heart disease her whole life. In the last few years I have had severe congestive heart failure and in August of this year recieved a heart transplant. This is my journey to be girl/woman who I could never have been before. I plan to set outstanding goals and achievements and hope people support me along the way good or bad.
