Happy rainy friday all. THIS IS DANE:

Maria had a rough night last night sleeping and is therefore is very tired today. We ask that we have a day of rest (no visitors please today). She is very up and down with her energy levels and tends to overdue it when she is ‘up’.

On the medical front, she is doing about the same as yesterday, based on her ‘#’s’. They just upped the main med, Milronone, in hopes that it increases her cardiac output.

The bottom line, right now, is to find the dosage of meds that has her functioning the best. Depending on what dosage that is, she will either a) go home and continue to recieve it intraveneously or b) stay in the hospital (if it is at a high dosage). At a high dosage, she would be bumped up to the highest transplant #, 1A; but it would also mean at least another week in the ole hospital.

We are going to get Lizzy in here to visit in the next day or so. As most of you know, this would be a HUGE lift for Maria.

At this point by far the best thing that could happen would be to get a heart; but it also conflicts with the goal of going home soon (much more likely to get a heart at 1A vs 1B).

Anyway, we will probably update tonight before bed .Thank you for all of your support and assistance; we wouldn’t be able to pull this off without y’all.

About marialegatt

I am a 33 year old girl (I say girl because I act and look young all the time) who has had heart disease her whole life. In the last few years I have had severe congestive heart failure and in August of this year recieved a heart transplant. This is my journey to be girl/woman who I could never have been before. I plan to set outstanding goals and achievements and hope people support me along the way good or bad.
