Home at last
After a long day of waiting to leave, finally, we are home. I went and picked up Maria’s brother Matt and his family at the airport and brought them back to our house so that they may briefly visit with Maria. When the crew was here, that was about as excited/normal/vibrant as I have seen Maria in a while.
It has been a long journey the last 8 days and we are both SPENT. Early to bed for us tonight in our comfy bed in our own, quiet house. No bells, alarm, puking roommates, 4 am blood draws.
Since not everyone is on facebook and because it is hard to see the poster online, here are the details :
There are going to be MANY very awesome raffle and silent auction items, along some snacks and of course, the coolest people in the world.
There will be some activities for kids, so please feel free to bring them!
NOTE: Maria and I will only be there for part of the event. We will arrive around 7 and probably stay only about a half hour. We would love to talk to each one of you, but realize this will be difficult 😦
One of our priorities will be germ control. We ask that you wash your hands frequently and take advantage of the hand sanitizer that will be out.
That is it for the evening, see some of you tomorrow night!
